Madacy
United States
1? (NTSC)

Werewolf vs. the Vampire Woman
Full Frame, except for opening and closing credits. Part of Madacy's "Killer Creature Double Feature" series. Coupled with SCREAMING SKULL. Master has been cleaned up of speckles to a large degree, but nothing can get rid of the periodic white lines running down the print. The first few minutes are particularly burdened by this marring. Digitalization causes minor shifting and dullness in picture quality. Color is passable. Scoped trailer is included.

Vengeance of the Zombies
Full frame. Looks like a dupe of the old All Seasons video. The OOP  video has better color and is sharper.

Werewolf vs. the Vampire Woman
Full screen; one of the worst transfers of any film I've seen. In two sets: TALES OF TERROR (10 pack) and PRAY FOR DEATH (4 pack).
January

Brentwood
United States

Horror Rises from the Tomb
Full screen; okay transfer of uncut version (but Brentwood abridged it slightly). The original Charter video has better color and definition. In 4 pack set, HORROR RISES FROM THE GRAVE and 10 pack set, DEADTIME STORIES.

Appears to be the same transfer, with supplements, as the American Anchor Bay release, except in PAL format

Sinema Diable
United States
1? (NTSC)

Dracula's Great Love
Terrible presentation sourced from a Sinister Cinema DVD-R or video. Mattes out the bottom portion of the picture, where a temporary Sinister logo is, for the first nine minutes, then continues full-frame, replicating whatever glitches were found in the source material.

Sinema Diable

Exorcismo
Probably booted from the old All Seasons Entertainment video or a DVD-R derivative, this full-frame presentation has good color and detail considering the source.

Naschy has a small role in this Basilio Martin Patino drama. Apparently only released in the Spanish language.

Mondo Crash

1? (NTSC)

Horror Rises from the Tomb
Two-disc set featuring three versions: the uncut "international" version, a cut TV version with clothed scenes replacing the nude ones available in the uncut version (both versions are full-frame and of passable quality), and an impressive widescreen version sourced from the German DVD and layered with an English audio track. The set comes in an attractive collector's keep box.

Vintage Home Entertainment
United States
(NTSC)

Fury of the Wolfman
Included in SERIAL CHILLERS, along with The Brainiac and Doctor Blood's Coffin. Housed in cardboard, foldout keep box. Sidebar notes, "Notable Naschy," reveal several Naschy facts. Presentation of this cut version is probably sourced from an earlier DVD release and is of lesser quality.

Countess Dracula's Orgy of Blood
Naschy's first U.S. film, shot on video. Letterboxed. Includes commentary by director Donald Glut, lead star Glori-Anne Gilbert and Dean McKendrick; bloopers and out-takes; Count Gore de Vo's "Creature Featurette" and original trailer.

Naschy returns as Waldemar Daninsky in this shot-on-video U.S. production directed by Fred Olen Ray. A bare bones DVD was released to Blockbuster stores in June but only as a rental, with, apparently, a general release slated for July.
